San Marcos PAGA Invitational - June 20th, 2009 - Plum Creek Golf Course

 

The San Marcos PAGA is a chapter of the National Pan American Golf Association, one the oldest and largest golf associations in the United States. The National PAGA organization has been in existence for over fifty years, promoting golf for men, women and juniors, through community involvement and fund raising activities. The national PAGA is established in 10 states with 44 Chapters and a membership of 2600.

The San Marcos chapter was organized in 1972 as a non-profit organization and was admitted to the National PAGA in 1973 with Herb Sanchez as its first president.

Purpose / Objectives

To encourage and promote amateur golf at all ages and skill levels.

To create and maintain for its members a competitve and enjoyable golf league.

To provide financial support and assistance to local community projects.

To participate and support the National PAGA, by supporting its constitution and by-laws, and by promoting its goals and objectives.
